Culinarian Bookshop’s 1st Reading Challenge-2023

Looking for a fun way to get into reading more this year? Join me in Culinarian Bookshop’s first reading challenge. This will be a great way to explore new genres and get through some of your TBR list. We all have those books on our shelves or under our bed just waiting to be read. Let’s do this together!

For the challenge, we will be reading books that fit each one of the 12 selected prompts over the course of this year. This can be 1 book a month or a few books one month then a non-reading month and more reading the following months. It is up to you on how often you read, and what you select to read. Make this challenge fit your life all while making new discoveries. Follow along and get ideas and recommendations from other participants.

How this works

  • Use the list pictured with 12 reading prompts to track your reading. Match one book to each of the prompts.
  • Once you have finished one prompt, share what you read on social. Use #culinarianbookchallege and tag us @culinarianbooks in your posts.
  • Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to connect with our bookish foodie readers.

Here is a printable bookmark you can use to track your reading.

For tips on how to read more, check out my recent post:

“The importance of reading, for me, is that it allows you to dream. Reading not only educates, but is relaxing and allows you to feed your imagination – creating beautiful pictures from carefully chosen words.”
