Our shop is an independent online bookselling business, focused on promoting wellness in the community with Books on Food (beyond cookbooks). All is curated with the mission of helping families and the next generation to have a healthy connection to food and grow a love of reading. Feed Your Bookish Foodie Hunger!
Most people I talk to tell me they wish they had more time to read and cook or that sometimes they just don't know where to start. I'm changing this with books on food along with classes and events design to inspire, which will get you reading and cooking more. Our books are curated by foodie type: a No Cook Foodie, Semi-Cook Foodie, or a Party Cook Foodie. We have book lists for the young and beyond, including lists for book club picks, and special featured interests.

Do you have plans?
Let's make plans together! Our events consist of pop-up shops, author book signings, online cooking classes, and monthly book club meetings. Our pop-up shops can be found around the North Bay and Bay Areas. We bring all the bookish goodies and games for you to explore as you shop. We like to support our local authors connecting them to you with our book signings and author talks. We have a general free book club that meets virtually every month. It is a tasty discussion that will prompt you to get cooking! Our small group cooking class explore menus inspired by selected novels! Everyone needs some tasty treats to help them digest their spectacular reads! We also have members only book clubs and cooking events.

Hey my bookish foodie friends! As a Bookworm Cook, cookbooks and food stories are my pot de crème. Culinarian Bookshop was born out of love for Food, Literature and Playful Cooking. I have an extensive background in Community Health having been a Public Health Nurse since 2008. With my bookshop, I want to continue serving my community through food and books!

Hmmm... flat hand pulled noodles 🍜 I need some practice. This was a bit challenging and requires lots of counter space. It was fun slapping the dough on the countertop, but then it would tear on me or not get thin enough. Flavors were great. I just needed a thinner noodle.
